For everyone who's moved who recently from a certain special journal site (which I think is everyone), I highly recommend...

LJ-SEC to transfer journal posts! The instructions & DL are on the link provided, second on the list. You can transfer a whole slew of entries, including community entries. You can't transfer comments, but I'm pretty sure that no program can. At least none that I've heard of yet. It's very easy, quick, and I haven't had any problems with it.

ADBLOCK PLUS FOR FIREFOX to get rid of those annoying-ass ads on IJ! Seriously, it may very well save your sanity. Tenfold.


And this LIST OF ICONS UPLOADERS that spencerreid recommended. I haven't used it yet, but since spencerreid recommended it, I'm sure it's made of awesome.
